PM Manager (Ecom)
1. Job Description:
Leadership and Management:
- Build, manage, and develop a professional R&D team to meet the company‘s product development needs.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and train and coach team members.
- Develop and manage the R&D budget.
Research and Product Development:
- Develop and implement a long-term R&D strategy aligned with the company‘s development direction.
- Plan and oversee the process of researching and developing new products from concept to completion.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility and market potential of new product ideas.
- Ensure products meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Product P&L Analysis:
- Participate in the analysis of production costs and product costs for each category.
- Propose solutions to optimize production costs and improve product profitability for each product line.
- Analyze cost, profit, expense, balance price, and product lifecycle for each category.
- Recommend pricing strategies and promotional programs appropriate for each stage of the product lifecycle.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure products meet market needs and achieve maximum business efficiency.
- Participate in the development and management of technical documentation and product user manuals.
Market Research:
- Closely monitor market trends, technologies, and competitors.
- Propose solutions to improve existing products and seize opportunities for new product development.
Reporting and Evaluation:
- Prepare plans and periodic reports on the progress and effectiveness of R&D activities.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of R&D projects and propose solutions for improvement.
Other tasks as required by management.
2. Job Requirements:
- Bachelor‘s degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in R&D, preferably with experience in the household appliances or consumer electronics industries.
- In-depth understanding of the product research and development process.
- Strategic thinking, keen awareness of market and technology trends.
- Good communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
